Context
The best I could find regarding "the Three Isles" is the Three Isle Tour offered by several travel companies in Scotland. This tour takes you to three Scottish islands: Mull, Iona, and Staffa. Supposedly, these three islands were owned by whoever was given the title of Duke of Argyll. Perhaps Sir Roland somehow held this title at one point?
