Context

Looking at Ember's bow side sig, it appears that Ash has brown fur. This doesn't narrow things down because there are several varieties of wolves that have brown fur. I wasn't sure if there was a sub-species called the "ash wolf," but all I found on that front was a page describing the Ashmarian Wolf in some sort of fantasy RPG setting called The Santharian Dream.
