- Nix dragged The Hundred-Legged Banshee of Donegal kicking and screaming to the Realm of Arawn
Context
In Welsh mythology, Arawn was the name of the king of the afterlife realm of Annwn ("A-noon," "a" as in "ash"). It is described as a delightful world of eternal youth with no disease and abundant food. When Christianity arrived in Ireland, Annwn became identified with heaven. Not a bad place to be dragged to...unless you're an evil, vengeful banshee, I suppose (at least, I assume the banshee is evil).
