• From Polokus, Rayman learned that the only way to defeat Mr. Dark was to find the lost Horn of Lums; which was found next to Odin in the Tournament’s glorious pile of prizes; Rayman is fighting hard to win the Horn and complete his quest, but he also loves the wild ruckus of Valhalla, and feels right at home among the bizarre cast of legendary warriors

Context

This item seems to be a BMG invention. Whatever it is, Rayman needs it to beat Mr. Dark. Perhaps the horn controls all the lums in the world? Do they save the lums somehow? Does it belong to the Lum Kings?

A lum is a small, bug-like ball of magical energy. There are many different varieties of several different colors. Yellow lums form to make up the Heart of the World, red lums restore health, blue lums allow Rayman to breathe underwater longer, green lums are checkpoints, silver lums come from fairies to bestow magical powers and abilities, and black lums are red lums that have been corrupted.

According to the trivia section of this page, "lum" is pronounced "loom" (like "il-LUM-ination"), not rhyming with "dumb." However, there's no source given for this, so until I hear or see otherwise, I prefer to say "lum" to rhyme with "dumb."
