Yep. That's what I thought. The only other "Tauriel" out there is this one. It may not be a total surprise to learn that the elf Tauriel is an original Peter Jackson creation. That is, she never appears in J.R.R. Tolkien's books, just the Hobbit films.

I suspect that BMG just thought the name was a good "celestial" name, because there is no other similarity to the Hobbit character. If you were curious, "Tauriel" means "forest maiden" in Sindarin (taur = "wood, forest" and the feminine suffix -iel = "daughter, maiden")
