• Jaeyun traveled the seas of the Old Kingdom on the back of his dragon turtle companion, Imugi.

Context

There doesn't seem to be any particular part of Korean history that is specifically called "the Old Kingdom." There are other nations that have terms like "Old Kingdom" and "Middle Kingdom" applied to their history (Egypt and China, for various reasons). There is speculation that Jaeyun could possibly have lived during the Joseon dynasty era (see his page for more information on that), which is fairly old by modern standard (1392-1897). There is also the Three Kingdoms of Korea era, though the phrase "Old Kingdom" doesn't seem to be used.
