Context
This is the setting for Ada's and Val's lore, as well as one of the fighting stages in Brawlhalla (the one with the best music, in my opinion). The way the stage looks (neon signs, lanes of flying cars/ships, skyscrapers, etc.) exudes cyberpunk tropes all over the place.
In Brawlhalla, Miami Dome is an "undersea free state." This makes me wonder if, in this version of 22nd century America, ocean flooding (an estimated consequence of global warming) actually happened and most of the state of Florida is underwater, requiring any city built there to be in an underwater, protective dome.
There is actually a real place called Miami Dome. It's a party venue in—where else—Miami, Florida.
