Context

A search for the name "Fa'zul" yielded Fazul Abdullah Mohammed, former leader of the extremist group al-Quaeda in East Africa, now deceased. There's probably no connection.

Judging by Azoth's lore, Fa'zul and his cultists were successful in summoning Lichlord Azoth. The heroes called upon by High Priestess Alerial failed to stop the cultists, but were probably instrumental in getting rid of Azoth in the end.
