Context

The name "KABAL" is based on the word "cabal," which is defined as "a secret political clique or faction." Some fantasy settings also use the term for a secret (usually evil) society of wizards, scientists, or alchemists. The fact that the name is in all caps suggests it's an acronym, kind of like SHIELD from Marvel Comics.
