Unmovable Titan of Heraklion

Connections

  •  Nix snatched the Unmovable Titan of Heraklion down to Hades

Context

Heraklion is the largest city on the island of Crete. It is named after the Greed legend, Hercules. The "titan of Heraklion" is likely Mylinos, one of the minor titans who was slain by Zeus. The "Unmovable" title probably comes from the meaning of his name, which is "millstone." A millstone is a large, slowly-revolving stone used in mills to grind grain. This is probably symbolic of the nature of time (like Mylinos' father, Kronos): slowly revolving, grinding everything down to oblivion...until Zeus killed him and Nix took him down to Hades.
