Context
The
Inuit people's belief system (religion, mythology, whatever you'd prefer) is heavily influenced by the naturally frigid climate in which they live, and animal spirits were a part of those beliefs. I didn't find any particular deity or creature in traditional Inuit spirituality that corresponded to a "Great Owl Spirit," however. There are several
mythical stories that involve owls, though.
