Context

This has to be one of the most on-the-nose references in all of Brawlhalla...and I love it! If BMG (Blue Mammoth Games) is going to have a mammoth character in their lore, of course they're gonna name it Blue!

Blue Mammoth Games was founded in 2009, and released Brawlhalla in 2015. They were acquired by Ubisoft on March 1, 2018. Brawlhalla is not their only game, but it's the most popular (and arguably the best one, although...I haven't tried Dungeon Blitz yet...maybe I should). BMG is based in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

Oh, did you want to know if mammoths could actually be blue? As far as I've seen, no...

The fact that both Kaya and Blue are in Valhalla is interesting. Kaya's spear nsig features what looks like an icy mammoth spirit. On the other hand, there is a sidekick cosmetic item that looks like a very cute, very happy, very blue mammoth.
