Context

Anton was the Commander of the Order of the Exalted Lion during the assault on Castle Volkov. Apart from his quote in Volkov's lore, Anton is also mentioned in this tweet on the official Brawlhalla Twitter account. This tweet was actually posted on Friday the 13th in December 2019, shortly before the release of the not-yet-named "Vampire" legend (which we now know is Volkov). All we know is that Anton is (or was) a Commander of the Order of the Exalted Lion, and that he planned an attack on the Vampire legend on a Friday the 13th. It is possible that the second quote on Volkov's page (the one where he organizes his castle defenses) could have been made during this same assault. Because there's at least one Friday the 13th every year (as far as I can tell), we can't determine the exact year this event happened.

Anton and Diana have both been called a "commander" in the Order of the Exalted Lion. The timeline here is a bit fuzzy, but if we assume Volkov is Caspian's grandfather (or even an earlier ancestor), then it's possible Diana replaced Anton as commander. Diana's lore specifically states she was the commander of the order's hunters, and Anton specifically gathered hunters for the Castle Volkov assault, which is why it's likely that they both held the same title at different times.
