- If he ever returned to his own time, Vector would correct Engram-Killivac’s Encyclopedia of World History.
Context
An engram is a unit of information that refers to memories stored in the brain, also known as a "memory trace." It is perhaps not coincidental that Engram is also the name of an album by a black metal band called Beherit.I actually couldn't find any outside reference to "Killivac," but I doubt that BMG just made this word up (although, who knows? Maybe they did).
At first, I was rather shocked that this "Engram" fellow would get so many details wrong about what humans were like in 1987. But, as I mention in my page on the Encyclopedia of World History, who knows how many things we got wrong about what humans were like 1,000 years before our time?
