Before you ask, no, I did not steal Thor’s hammer. Trust me, my thick-headed brother, my father Odin, and Heimdall all confronted me about it. They can confirm that I do not have it, nor do I know where it has gone.
I hear you’re the one tasked with locating the hammer. Well, I am all too happy to assist. I just so happen to have a message from the culprit themselves:

Ah, but you can’t read it yet, can you? Not to worry. I’ll provide you the information you need. First, a series of seven clues (all answers can be found on this website):
- A flighty, sooty creature, similar in appearance to the wielder mentioned in [#7]
- The owner of [#7] quite possibly met a “flattened” end at this place
- The person referred to in [#5] buried their weapon into the weak spot of this creature
- Encountered by three people: the hue of that Lion in [#6], the partner of [#1], and one whose name rhymes with [#1]
- A unique skill possessed by the one who lured a certain general to [#2]
- Sir Roland is the Admiral of what?
- An instrument of “selective slaughter,” wielded by a former member of [#6]’s group
See? That’s all you need. Oh, you still can’t read the message? Very well. The first letter of each answer can be unscrambled to make a name, which will reveal the mysterious author. Once you have that, I suggest taking the last letter of that person’s name and filling in the blank:
__ = A
The rest should fall into place. Good luck! ;)
Author's note: The mystery is not over when you decode this message. Pay particular attention to the text itself. There are no unintented typos in it. I've checked. ;)

I think you slightly messed up #6, as he's the admiral of the Northen Seas, and the questions relating to #6 don't make sense if that is the answer.
ReplyDeleteThe two questions that relate to #6 refer to Sir Roland, not to the Northern Seas. Since Sir Roland is explicitly stated in question #6, I thought there would be less confusion about this.
ReplyDeleteSo the two questions that reference #6 are 4 and 7. Let me explain them:
4. "the hue of that Lion in [#6]" --> One of Sir Roland's titles is the Scarlet Lion, so Scarlet is one of the three people who encountered the answer to #4.
7. "a former member of [#6]'s group." The Order of the Exalted Lion, of which Sir Roland was a member.
I can see, however, how the confusion happened. This was clearly a mistake on my part, for which I apologize.
Feel free to contact me (About Me page) if you want more help. :)
I got it myself, I was just letting you know in case it was a mistake you made on accident :) I love the little treasure hunt by the way, some of them did have me stumped!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Glad you enjoyed it. :)
DeleteI'm stuck. I got all the answers but can't decode the author no matter how hard I try!
ReplyDeleteIf you have all the correct letters, you should be able to spell out the name of a Brawlhalla legend. ;)
DeleteIt's Caspian. Can i be rewarded... :>
DeleteAlso, help me. I can get the hidden code in this text. It says invalid code. Please help me.
DeleteThe slash makes me confuse right now.

ReplyDeleteSo, I've managed to get to the shortened link, but it seems to be broken or something. Are the typos part of it?
ReplyDeleteI just typed it into a decipher and got the message.
