Context

Artemis's lore page reveals that she was born in West Plaza in New York. I struggled to find a city or town in the state of New York called West Plaza. I couldn't find a "West Plaza" in New York City, either. The best I could find in the real world was Plaza West, a modern, 19-story apartment building. It is quite possible that Mary Washington (Artemis) was simply born in her parents' apartment there. Alternatively, there's the Plaza Hotel, which is on the west side of Grand Army Plaza.

Moving on to Cross's lore, there is so much easily-found information that you can find online regarding what New York was like in the middle of the 20th century. Nothing I've found seemed relevant enough to Cross or Brawlhalla in general to include here, however.

The only 1951 case I found involving the city of New York is Feiner v. New York. It is a free speech case, however, and not related to organized crime. Other cases in New York during those decades include this, this, and this, none of which seem relevant to Cross's background.
