Context
Aelfheim (also spelled "Alfheim"), of course, is the world of the elves, and is often shown in depictions of the nine worlds of Norse cosmology. It is said that the Norse god Frey is the ruler of Alfheim. Could he be the Elven King? Maybe, but maybe not, because Frey is a god and not an elf. The relationship between gods and elves is very ambiguous in original Norse mythology. In any case, elves in Aelfheim are described as luminous, and "more beautiful than the sun," leading us to believe that their world is likewise radiant and beautiful.Elves as we know them in most fantasy settings are highly influenced by J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings books, which in turn were highly influenced by Old Norse and other Germanic cultures and mythologies. We can assume, then, based on this and the appearance of Dusk, that the elves of the Brawlhalla version of Aelfheim are not much different. Although, we do know that the elves of Brawlhalla tried to overthrow Odin's rule in Asgard by creating a golem army, which is different from the classic mythology.
